‘Magical Mystery Tour,’ the Beatles‘ 1967 made-for-TV film, will be released on DVD and Blu-ray worldwide on Oct. 8 and in North America on Oct. 9, which, coincidentally, would have been John Lennon’s 72nd birthday. The movie will also have a limited theatrical release on Sept. 27.
The Doors’ 1968 Hollywood Bowl Concert Gets Tricked-Out Audio and Video Re-Releases
For the first time ever, fans of the Doors will be able to hear the entirety of their famous concert at the Hollywood Bowl on July 5, 1968. On Oct. 23, the band will release ‘Live at the Bowl ’68′ in both video (DVD, Blu-ray, digital) and audio (CD, LP, digital) formats.
Elton John Responds to ‘Nikita’ Plagiarism Lawsuit
Back in April we learned that a songwriter named Guy Hobbs was suing Elton John and Bernie Taupin in an Illinois court for allegedly stealing the words to Hobbs’ song ‘Natasha’ for their 1985 hit ‘Nikita.’ TMZ is now reporting that John has filed his legal documents which deny the allegations and request immediate dismissal of the suit.

Chicago and Doobie Brothers Announce 2012 Tour
